The 48-Hour Film Sprint Returns!

We’re excited to announce our annual 48-Hour Film Sprint, returning this year! The completed films will be showcased at the CPSFF on Saturday, May 31st.
The 48-Hour Film Sprint is completely FREE to participate in and open to filmmakers around the world! No prior filmmaking experience is required, and if you don’t have a video camera, your phone will work just fine.
This is a fun and creative challenge for friends, families, work teams, school groups, church communities, or anyone looking to have a great time.
Here’s how it works: On Friday, May 16th at 6 PM, we’ll post a set of instructions, including a character name, a movie prop, and a line of dialogue that must be included in your film. From there, you’ll have 48 hours to write, cast, shoot, and edit a complete short film that is between 3 to 10 minutes long. Once your film is ready, simply send us a link to the video before the 48 hour deadline – it’s that easy!
All completed films will be screened at the film festival on May 31st, and the winning film will receive the prestigious Scallywag Award.
